Clarion County Keystone Family Alliance in partnership with Clarion Kindness Project is hosting the first ever Stand Sunday Kids Carnival on Sunday, November 10th from 1:00 - 4:00 pm at the Clarion Mall.
There will be free food (hotdogs, snow cones, popcorn, funnel cakes, ice cream and cotton candy) along with carnival games and face painting and a special appearance by Spider Man from 2:00 - 4:00 pm. All activities are free and all children in the community are invited to attend.
Various agencies and organizations will be set up to provide information on services they provide and to raise awareness about vulnerable children in Clarion County. Children can visit each station to fill out a BINGO sheet to win a fun prize.
Stand Sunday is observed annually and is a day when churches and communities stand up for children and families impacted by the child welfare system. The observance has grown to include churches and groups in over 120 countries.
