St. Paddy’s Ladies, a group of women from St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Brady’s Bend, was formed in 2014 to serve our local communities with acts of kindness. In the past 10 years the group of close to 20 women has raised funds to provide financial assistance to people and organizations in need and has donated to people who have faithfully served local children and the church. Mercy meals are prepared and delivered to local shut-ins and those who will benefit from a healthy meal. Monthly, greeting cards go out to friends and neighbors who are suffering from loss or illness, often with a small donation but always with love and compassion.
Watch for the Purse Party fund raiser held the third Sunday in May each year. All proceeds stay in the community and support the mission of St. Paddy’s Ladies.
