Patti Jan Best Altman, 62, of Tombstone, AZ., formerly of Shippenville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born May 29, 1962, she was the daughter of the late Barney and Janice Heeter Best.
She married Miles F. Altman, on August 7, 1998. Miles preceded her in death on December 28, 2024.
Patti graduated from Keystone High School in 1980 and from Crum’s Beauty College in Manhattan KS. Patti owned and operated Doris-Anne Beauty Salon in Clarion for years. Patti was also employed at TTSR of Foxburg, and several caregiving places in the Tombstone area.
She is survived by her son Justin Best of Mesa, AZ.; two grandsons, Bryon and Pierce Best, also of AZ, whom she adored. She is also survived by two siblings, Jack (Carol) Best and Peach (Roy) King, all of Callensburg, PA; a special aunt, Joie Heeter of Sierra Vista, AZ; Jessie Bailey of Clarion, and many nieces and nephews, 14 great nieces and two great nephews, three great nieces, two great nephews, and many cousins.
A memorial service will be held to celebrate Patti’s life at a later date.
