Camo Cares board member and Parker Allegheny Canby Lodge No. 521 member, Kevin Chaff, attended the lodge’s monthly meeting. Kevin gave a great presentation about Camo Cares. He explained about how Camo Cares got started up in the small local town of Knox and the many fantastic people that have worked so hard to make it a success. He discussed some of the Vets and children that they have helped over the years. Brother Chaff also showed some nice videos of the hunts that they have sponsored for the vets and children and what it truly means for them go on them.
Kevin also discussed the annual Camo Cares Archery event at the Fryburg Sportsman’s Club, which helps create funds to sponsor these hunts.
Thanks to the diligent work of the Parker Allegheny Canby Lodge Secretary, James Slaughenhoupt (JA) and his willingness to set up a fun night of bingo at the Beer Garden, the lodge was able to raise and donate $1000 to this great organization. The Parker Allegheny Canby Lodge would also like to thank The Beer Garden for their generosity and being able to use their facility.
