Andy Doverspike, Turkey City, was able to take down this 8-point buck on the 2nd day of deer season around 8:07 A.M. The 8-point has a 17 inch spread and weighed 140#. The buck was taken at the Grassy Knoll Farm in New Bethlehem. Pat McCauley served as Andy’s spotter and is credited with taking this photo.
Since Andy was the first to share his successful deer hunt with The Progress News, he will be awarded an official NRA Lottery Calender. Congratulations Andy.
