Michelle (Shelly) Lynn Kittner

Michelle (Shelly) Lynn Kittner, 52, of Parker, was led home by our Lord and Savior on Sunday, December 8th, after a brief illness.

Born in Oil City on February 9th, 1972, to David and Arlene Kittner.

Shelly was a graduate of A-C Valley High School in Foxburg. She lived in Parker for many years, moved to South Carolina, and then to the North Hills in Pittsburgh before returning home to Parker to be with her family.

Shelly was a Nanny early on in her career. Children gravitated towards her. She was the Happiest when she was holding a baby or petting a dog. Though she didn’t have children of her own, she loved them all as if they were hers. They loved their “Miss Shelly!”

Shelly celebrated her 5th anniversary this fall as an Imaging Specialist for Iron Mountain. She was very good at her job and took pride in helping Veterans get the care they deserve.

Many know Shelly as a kind, gentle soul with an infectious smile and laugh. She was always there to lend an ear, encourage others, and give the best hugs.

Shelly was Protestant by faith. She Loved the Lord and enjoyed going to Christian concerts and trips to the beach.

Baking was another way she shared her love; sharing it with others was one of her favorite things to do.

Until they meet again in Heaven, she will be greatly missed by her loving parents, Dave and Arlene Kittner of Parker, and her sister Tina Kittner Teter, also of Parker. Shelly and Tina had a very special bond as both a sister and a Best Friend. She is also survived by her Aunts, Wilma Ritchey, Naomi Burkhardt, Peggy Chambers, Uncles Ronald, Donald Shearer, and many cousins, some of whom she was very close to and loved sharing time with. Connie Dorr, Victoria and Anna Cisneros, Nickey Chambers, and Shawntell Parish.

Shelly valued friends very much, and she was Blessed to have many. Her special friends included Bonnie Marzik, Kim Grossman, Bethany Lesczynski, and Carolyn Vollmer. She also had a special "nephew," Shawn, who called her Aunt Shelly.

Shelly was preceded in death by several Aunts, uncles, and cousins. Her paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Jean Kittner, are maternal grandparents. Samuel and Elsie Shearer. (Shelly was very close to both of her grandmothers).

A viewing will be on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at the Jack Buzard Funeral Home in Parker from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Shelly’s homecoming service will be at the First Presbyterian Church in Parker at 11 am on Thursday, December 12, 2024, with Pastors Chuck Cline and Michael Harvey officiating.

Donations in Shelly’s name can be sent to a local Humane Society, Food Bank, and Veterans Center.
