What's coming and how you can participate on June 29, 2024?
Saturday, June 29th will kick off with vendors and food trucks in the park at 9am. Stroll through the vendors and pick up breakfast goodies at the early food trucks - The Crow’s Cupboard and The Gyro Guys. Vendors may register by contacting Cindy 724-290-3840 or register on Facebook - Parker Community Day.
You can also participate in the Summer Polar Plunge float down the river. Pre-registration is recommended. It will start in Emlenton and end at the Parker boat launch. Please contact Mandy at 724-290-7388. You may also make contact through the Parker City Polar Plunge Facebook page.
Kid activities in the park will include free games & face painting hosted by the Parker Community Day Committee and Jefferson Clarion Headstart Program. Penn State Extension will also host an interactive booth. We are excited to have a bounce house park back this year. Kids can slide and bounce all day with a $5 wristband. If you are a bit too old for the bounce park, The Lowe Farm and Friends will be operating an obstacle course for all to enjoy, free of charge.
As the day gets going, beautiful classic cars will start coming through and be set up for you to vote for your favorite in Parker’s Summer Car Show. You can pick up a voter card at the registration table. More food trucks will arrive to take care of all your lunch and dinner hunger! We are pleased to welcome back Mad Mac BBQ, Kaczor Ravioli Company. New this year- 412 Ice Cream & The Gyro Guys.
Gather for the Parker City Parade at 5pm. We have new entries and looking forward to a wonderful parade this year! We would like to invite supervised children with a Powerwheels vehicle to drive the parade. If you would like to participate in the parade with a float, vehicle, or with the Powerwheels group, please contact Jessica at 724-556-1508 or register on Facebook - Parker Community Day.
After the parade trickle back into the park for live music and food. The pavilion will be filled with music by the afternoon with a few different groups. Headlining at 6:30 PM will be Issac Cole. Fireworks will cap off the evening!

The Parker Community Day Committee is working hard to plan a wonderful day for our community and beyond. We are gratefully accepting private donations.
