It’s the Red Kettle Season and the Knox area volunteers will be manning the Red Kettle for the Salvation Army.
Ron Best, organizer of the Knox Unit for the Red Kettle, says, with help from the Knox Lions and the Farmers National Bank, the bell will be ringing on Tuesdays, Thursday, and Fridays from 9 to 4 p.m. at the Tom’s Riverside in Knox.
Santa will be manning the Salvation Army Red Kettle at the Knox Riverside with his helpers on Dec. 14th. Stop by, say hello and maybe get a little gift from Santa.
All proceeds from the Red Kettle Collection are kept in Clarion County, with the Charitable Deeds and Services distributing the funds.
Anyone wishing to volunteer some bell ringing time at the Red Kettle and call Ron Best at 814-797-2519. The goal is to have volunteers each day, except Sundays.
Please support this annual fundraising effort of The Salvation Army.
