Judith Gwen “Judy” (Hepler) Wilfong


Judith Gwen “Judy” (Hepler) Wilfong, 65, of Emlenton, passed away in the early afternoon of October 24, 2024.

Born on March 28, 1959, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Jack Hepler and Donna Yough Edwards.

She was a 1977 graduate of Mesa High School in Mesa, Arizona.

Judy was married on July 19, 2003, to Dave Wilfong, and he survives.

Judy adored her Shih Tzus and German Shepherds along with her various farm animals she cared for throughout her childhood and into adulthood. She enjoyed cooking, leading her to open her own restaurant and host many joyful family gatherings. Judy loved hunting with her husband, Dave, growing an abundance of fruits and vegetables from her garden, and listening to music while she mowed the yard. Judy was dedicated to family, hard work, and the characteristic of integrity.

She inspired optimism in the face of adversity and instilled these values in her loved ones.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her four daughters, Jessica (Cliff), Rebecca (Chuck), Sabrina, and Serena; three sons, Russell, David, and Ryan (Philip); step-daughters, Jennifer (Jim) and Tiffany (Missy); ten grandchildren, Clifford, Eric, Savannah, Sierra, Carson, Phoebe, Brody, Camden, Hudson, and Sophie; her sister, Jennifer (Barry); sister-in-law, Linny (Rich); and brothers-in-law, Rick and Dale.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Hepler; her mother, Donna Yough Edwards; her sister, Jackie; a brother-in-law, Bob, and two sisters-in-law, Patty and Carol.

Private funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hile Funeral Home Inc. of Emlenton.
