Ira Glenn Stephens, 92, of North Riverview Drive, Parker, Hovey Twp., Armstrong Co., passed away peacefully early Monday evening, March 31, 2025, at Quality Life Services in Grove City in the presence of his family.

Ira Glenn was born in Bruin on April 23, 1932. He was the son of the late Robert and Lillian Stevenson Stephens.

He attended school in Bruin and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, having served in Germany. He was of the Protestant faith. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, riding his motorcycle with his wife, and participating with the Stephens family orchestra.

Glenn was a truck driver and retired from Witco in Petrolia in 1994.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn “Sue” Mullen Stephens, whom he married at the Espyville Campground in 1983. Also surviving are two stepsons, Brian K. Nosker and his wife, Donna, of Volant and John R. Nosker and his wife, Pilar, of Hanover Park, IL; seven grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren, Lisa Raymond, who was like a daughter to him, as well as a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Glenn was the last surviving member of his immediate family and was preceded in death by his siblings, Charlotte Minich, Twila Richey, Robert “Bob” Stephens, Pearl Thoma, Velma Venisky and Bernice Fox, and a number of brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Friends will be received at the Hile Funeral Home Inc., 1204 Kerr Ave., Emlenton, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Thursday. A funeral service will follow from the funeral home at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Dan Myers, retired Methodist pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Allegheny Cemetery, Allegheny Twp., Butler County.
