The Foxburg Country Club finished up its 1887 Men’s League play last Monday, August 19th.
The ten week play started in May and culminated in a playoff format on August 19th.
The weekly play included skins games as well as a 50-50.
Winning the league was the team of Logan Pistorious, Dave McElroy, Chris DeMarco and Dave Gifford.
Overall thirty-two members and twelve alternates participated.
Second place honors went to the team of Bill Strauser, Shawn Pistorious, Henry Crawford and Allen Rumbaugh.
Fall Classic Event
Foxburg Country Club will be hosting a fall classic on Saturday, October 5, 2024.
The Fall Classic stands out as one of the clubs largest and most popular events, where the course is transformed to an 18 hole par 3 event inspired by a Halloween wonderland.
With eerie decorations, spooky surprises, and festive activities, it’s a day filled with both challenging golf and Halloween-themed entertainment.
