Another year down and another successful effort for all those involved in making this extraordinary fund-raiser what it is... a blessing!

The event now finishing it’s 15th year has raised around $290,000.

A big part of the money raised each year is attributed to the live auction. The Forsythe’s would like to give a special recognition to Jack Buzard who has been a special part of this fund-raising campaign. The last two years Jack has helped raise over $31,000 in the live auction. Jack has been so giving of his time and always adds a special aspect to the event with his very unique style and words of cadence. “Jack has been such a tremendous person and personality for the surrounding community. He always seems to find a way to make our event a better experience for all in attendance, we can’t thank him enough, stated Vince Forsythe.

With so many moving parts, the fund-raiser is a true testament of community support. From the people who sponsor shirts, attend special events (BINGO at the Beer Garden, Otto’s Chili Cookoff), donate auction items, buy raffle tickets and volunteer their time to help those in need signifies the true spirit of giving back.

The Forsythe’s would like to give a special thank you to the Scrubgrass Stone Church, Crystal Forsythe, the Cratty family, Mike Chechak, Matt and Monica Hepler, Nancy Hindman, Collin McNany, Seth Clark, Bud Kasmoch, Clarion County Rod & Gun Club, Wade Salusky and Dave Myers.

Anyone who would like to make a contribution can do so by mailing to Vince Forsythe, P.O. Box 161, St. Petersburg, PA 16054. All monies will go towards next years event.
