Congratulations to ACV 1 (Perry Township VFD) on an undefeated season of 14-0. They finished the regular season with a perfect 11-0 record, including some exciting walk off wins.
ACV 1 started their playoff run as a #1 seed against ACV 2 in the first round of playoffs with the pitching talent of Jacob Dehart and key hits of Erik Fischli and James Tedeski leading to victory.
In the second round, ACV 1 went head-to-head with a very dangerous New Bethlehem 2 team. Jase Murray’s key pitching performance as well as his homerun in the fourth inning helped lead the team to victory with a 5-2 win.
The championship game was held on June 21 in Rimersburg and consisted of ACV vs. Leeper. ACV was led by duo of pitcher Landon “Hawk” Eiler and catcher Robbie “Turtle” Best. ACV’s hitting was firing on all cylinders from top to bottom of lineup winning 10-0 in the 4th inning. ACV defense was specular all season and did not disappoint on championship day, as they did not allow a run to cross the plate. It was the perfect end to a perfect season.
ACV 1 was coached by head coach-Jake Dehart, with assistant coaches - Stephen Buzard, Zack Eiler, Larry Long and Paul Murray.
Coach Dehart would like to thank the coaches, players, parents and fans for an incredible 14-0 season. Congratulations boys on a great season!
