Eunice M. “LuLu” Lieberum

Eunice M. “LuLu” Lieberum, 83, of Marienville, passed away Sunday evening February 2, 2025, at Snyder Memorial Home in Marienville.

Eunice was born in Peterborough, England on December 10, 1941. She was the daughter of the late Richard and Doris Fernley Bewick. She attended school in Peterborough.

Eunice had lived in Marienville for many years. She was a bartender and waitress at Bucktails Hotel in Marienville and had also been employed at Kmart. She enjoyed silk flower arranging, gardening, jewelry making, and needlepoint. Eunice was very patriotic and was a long-time member of the lady’s auxiliary to the former Foxburg American Legion. She enjoyed traveling with her husband to various veterans events and assisting with his Elvis impersonations.

Eunice was married in Marienville to Paul Thomas “Tom” Lieberum, on March 12, 1983, and shortly after, moved to St. Petersburg, Clarion County. Following Tom’s retirement as Clarion County Director of Veteran’s Affairs, the couple lived in Ft. Myers, Florida for several years. Tom preceded her in death on October 8, 2023. Following Tom’s passing, Eunice returned to Marienville.

Surviving are two sons, Timothy L. Hall and Ricky J. Hall and his wife Stacy, all of Marienville; seven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, her step-children, Gina M. Zeigler, Paula J. Lieberum, and David Lieberum; a brother-in-law, Jeffrey Lieberum, as well as several step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, a brother, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, R. Gail Hall, and 11 siblings.

Friends will be received at the Furlong Funeral Home, 140 Cherry St., Marienville, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Saturday, February 15, 2025. A memorial service will follow from the funeral home at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Dan Myers, USMC, ret., officiating. The interment will be beside her husband in the St. Petersburg Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to a veterans’ charity of one’s choice.
