A select few Civil Air Patrol Cadets traveled to Washington D.C. from February 11th-14, 2025, for National Legislative Days as representatives of the Pennsylvania Civil Air Patrol Wing.

Cadet Ambassadors are top-performing members selected through a competitive application process to accompany CAP senior leadership. Cadet Chief Master Sergeant Luke Pentz of Emlenton was selected from many applicants across the state. Selection criteria was based upon character, leadership skills, commitment to advancing through the cadet program, volunteer service, and an oral interview board.

For the past 82 years, the cadet program has been a force multiplier in producing the best and brightest of America’s youth focusing on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), the study and practice of leadership, and outstanding citizenship. As they share their CAP story, our elected leaders will hear first-hand accounts of the lasting impact of the cadet program.
