DOLORES E. GROVE, 91, of Eau Claire, passed away Monday morning, January 20, 2025, at her residence following a period of declining health.
Born in Butler County on March 5, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Mary Elizabeth Borchert Polm.
She married Carnie W. Grove on June 9, 1954, and he passed away on December 31, 2012.
Dolores was a long-time member of the Eau Claire Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are her son, Bradley W. Grove, and three grandchildren: Carley Grove and fiancé Ethan Bailey; Zachary Grove and his wife Jillian, and Emma Grove, all of MI, one sister, Betsy Deal of Parker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two sisters: Eva Jane Ruth and Kate Blauser. Two brothers: William "Bill" Polm and his brother Charles, along with his wife, Mary Ann Dunmire Polm, tragically perished in the Yarmouth Castle disaster while traveling from Florida to the Bahamas on November 13, 1965.
A Private visitation and funeral will be held at H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home of Eau Claire (201 S. Washington St.) on Saturday. She will be laid to rest at the Eau Claire Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials in her honor may be made to the Tunnels to Towers project t2t.org.
