A few members of the Boys and Girls Club Along The Allegheny recently enjoyed a trip to the Henry Dairy Farm in Knox. They were able to learn about the milking process and the inner workings of a dairy farm. The kids were able to make ice cream and interact with some of the animals and meet the newest member of the farm, a dairy calf born earlier in the morning.
This education series is a part of the Clarion Conservation District's Fun on the Farm Tour which featured a Tree Farm, Mushroom Farm and a Dairy Farm. Anyone interested in learning more about the Clarion Conservation programs can visit their site at www.clarionconservation.com/events.
