Under New Ownership
Clintonville Hardware & Rental is holding an Open House on Saturday, April 12, 2025 as they introduce the new owners, Christie & Daniel Karns, and family, and showcase some of the new changes they have brought to the business.
While not a “Grand Opening”, Christie and Daniel purchased Clintonville General Store in January and have been busy rebranding it to better reflect their products and services. They have brought in new equipment rentals as well as new product lines, such as Milwaukee Tool & Accessories, a new Midwest Fastener selection, quality Spec Ops Tools, Channellock and Pit Boss Smokers. They are working to deepen their inventory selection and strive to provide a high level of customer service and quality product.
Hailing from Zelienople, they have been active in their local business community and intend to carry some of the learned successes to Clintonville as they support other businesses in the area.
While there are many changes to be found, others remain the same. Employees of the store have remained, and store hours currently are unchanged. They are open Monday - Friday 9 AM - 6 PM, Saturdays 9 AM to 5 PM and closed Sundays. As the business grows and changes, they do see hours expanding as well as a need to hire additional employees.
