Clarion Chapter Order of the Eastern Star Fifty Years of Service

On Saturday, March 22, 2025, nine members of the Clarion Chapter of PA Order of the Eastern Star (PA OES) traveled to the Sewickley, PA area to join 156 other PA OES members and guests to honor members (of Chapters in Western PA) celebrating their 50th years in the OES.
The theme of the luncheon (Peace, Love and Golden Stars) reflected to 1974, 50 years ago when these members, who are affectionately called PA OES’s “Golden Stars”, joined the fraternal organization.
Nancy Gillespie, one of the Appointed Grand Chapter Committee Members - Golden Stars (Western PA Section), shared that Clarion Chapter has eight Golden Stars in 2024, two of whom were present at the luncheon on Saturday. Marilyn Beers and Betty (BJ) Sigworth were in attendance and were welcomed to the luncheon by Marcia Holland, PA OES Worthy Grand Matron (WGM) and Mike Byers, PA OES Worthy Grand Patron (WGP).
The luncheon was filled with memories, reminiscing, and friendships formed through the years and it served as a heartfelt tribute to each of the Golden Stars and their 50 years of commitment and service to PA OES and the communities where they live.
