Butler VA To Host Whole Health Month Event for all Veterans

Butler, Pennsylvania — Butler VA Health Care System is hosting a Whole Health Expo on Thursday, April 24, 2025 from 11am-1pm at the Abie Abraham VA Clinic (353 North Duffy Road, Butler PA) to celebrate Whole Health Month.

This ‘drop in’ event will feature various stations and demonstrations to walk the Circle of Health. Veterans are encouraged to learn more about Whole Health offerings such as workshops, coaching, and complementary and integrative health services that can be a part of their Whole Health experience.

“Whole Health is about you as a whole person and what matters most to you, not just what’s the matter with you,” said Karen Justi, Butler VA’s Whole Health Program Manager. “You and your care team develop a plan based on your priorities for your health, such as moving more, sleeping better, or waking up with less pain. Join us at this year’s expo to begin your Whole Health journey.”

Some of the resources available to Veterans at the Butler VA to support their Whole Health include:

· Introduction to Whole Health

· Whole Health coaching

· Well-being programs (Yoga, tai chi, pilates, creative arts)

· Taking Charge of My Life and Health course

· Live Whole Health mobile app
