Butcherine Making Christmas Brighter For Youth with Toys for Tots Program

With the help of her family and customers, Beth Butcherine, whose family owns Butcherine’s Beer Distributor in Boyers, PA has been collecting toys and monetary donations for the local Bantam Marine Corps League Department #743 Toys for Tots program for over 22 years. Each year the community comes together and helps her surpass her goal of toys donated. Beth collects money all year long from her loyal, generous customers and uses the monetary donations to purchase toys. Beth’s niece Holly Thompson of Eau Claire also collects a large number of toys each year, assists in various fundraisers, and is a big reason Butcherine’s Distributor is so successful every year. Beth and her family plan a big shopping trip to purchase all the toys with the money she collected.

Beth got started collecting toys when she saw an article in the paper for collecting Toys for Tots and she called and asked for a box to set up at Butcherine’s Distributor. No child should experience a Christmas without gifts. If you are interested in donating a new/unwrapped toy or making a monetary donation to help the children of Butler County who may not have the Christmas they deserve. Donations can be made up until Monday December 23, 2024.

The American Legion Post 243 in West Sunbury and The Beer Garden Sports Bar & Grille, 2399 Oneida Valley Rd., Rt. 38, are also collection sites that you can drop toys off at. Thank you to everyone who has already donated. Merry Christmas!
