Venango County, PA – Bridge Builders Community Foundations (BBCF) is excited to announce that the Technical Career Investment Grant application opens on February 3, 2025. Established by a generous donor, this program aims to support local businesses in attracting and retaining top-tier engineering talent while also helping recent engineering graduates reduce the burden of student loan debt.

The grant is available to recent graduates with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering who live and work in Venango County. Eligible applicants must have been employed as an engineer for three years or less, have an outstanding student loan balance of $5,000 or more, and provide a letter of support from their current employer.

Selected applicants can receive an award of $5,000 or more. Recipients may reapply for a second grant, with a maximum of two awards permitted. The program presents an exceptional opportunity for engineering professionals to reduce their financial burdens while contributing to the growth of local industry.

BBCF encourages local companies to promote the grant to their employees and new hires, highlighting it as a valuable resource to attract and retain skilled engineers. By alleviating student loan debt, businesses can position themselves as leaders in fostering career development and supporting the region’s workforce.
