Owner Chuck Corbett and partner Cindy Simonton, along with Marsha (Staab) Barber, sales manager, would like to invite you to the grand opening of Harrison Street Antiques on June 1, 2024 at 9 A.M. The store is located at 12391 Harrison Street, Rt. 28, Summerville, PA.
Corbett has been an avid collector most of his life. Since he was in the 3rd grade he loved collecting arrowheads and stamps. He grew up in Summerville. He then pursued his career as a project superintendent in construction. However, his passion for antiques & collectibles has grown even more.
Chuck and Cindy met in Florida at the Renninger’s Antique Center at Mt. Dora. They ended up setting their booths side-by-side. They struck up conversations of their love of antiques and selling . . . however their relationship became more as time went by. Now they are side-by-side in their new venture in their life back here in Pa.
Harrison Street Antiques has everything from primitives to antiques, sterling silver, vintage and antique jewelry, gold, silver, glassware, crocks, and lots of unusual items. (*they are still buying gold, silver, jewelry and antiques). Two vendors are joining the Harrison Street Antiques team.
The building they bought was built in 1947 and was a car repair garage, restaurant, and gas station. It was badly neglected for many years. Chuck and Cindy have been working on their store for 3 1/2 years.
Corbett said, “We have two vendors joining us at the antique store, as collecting has been their passion also.” Corbett continued, “They offer prints, coins, pottery, glassware, fine hunting knives, crocks, jewelry, antique furniture, and unique pieces”.
