Laurie Jean Stalker McFadden

LAURIE JEAN STALKER McFADDEN, 61, of Parker passed away suddenly early Monday morning, March 30, 2015 at her residence of natural causes.

Born in Butler, Pa. on Dec. 30, 1953, she was the daughter of Dorothy Stewart Stalker of Parker and the late Frank L. Stalker.

She was protestant by faith, and a graduate of the Karns City High School.

Jean was a former manager at Co-Go’s at Emlenton, and had been employed at the former Rodger’s Market and Parker House Hotel, both in Parker. She was a social member of the VFW at Parker.

GLENNA A. BARGER

GLENNA A. BARGER, 83, of Toby Twp., Parker, Pa. passed away early Monday evening, March 30, 2015 at the home of her caregivers, Susie and Mike Kifer, following a period of declining health.
Born in Greenville, Pa. on May 11, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Wavie Price Grazier.
She was employed over fifteen years by the former Glass Containers at Parker. Glenna also cooked the weekly dinners for the former Parker Rotary at the VFW for many years.
Glenna was protestant by faith.

Howard E. “Howdy” Barger, 90, of Petrolia St., Karns City, went to be with the Lord at 11:35 p.m. Friday, March 27, 2015 at the home of his step daughter in Chicora with his loving wife by his side.
Howard was born in Dutch Hill, Clarion County, on March 26, 1925. He was the son of Perry and Emma Wyant Barger.
He attended Parker High School. Howard was a sergeant in the U.S. Army serving in field artillery and communications during the Korean War. He retired from Witco Chemical in Petrolia following 38 years of service.

Margaret Aldine (Deanie) Hile Lipinski

Margaret Aldine (Deanie) Hile Lipinski, 84, of East Brady died Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Newhaven Court at Clearview in Butler, where she lived for two years.

Deanie was born to Warren J. and Thressa (Rettig) Hile on September 12, 1930. Deanie, her parents, and all her grandparents were born, lived, and died in East Brady or nearby. Deanie was the youngest of her siblings, and the last to die. Her siblings were: Merrill (Butt) Hile, Agnes McLaughlin, Francis (Hank) Hile, Rosalie (Rhody) Bish Peck, James Hile, Anna Marie Zeitler, and Elizabeth Hile.

Leslie W. Shoup, 50, of Foxburg Rd., Parker, Allegheny Twp., Butler Co., passed away unexpectedly Saturday evening, March 21, 2015.
Born in Butler on June 19, 1964, Leslie was the daughter of Robert and Elizabeth Seybert Shoup.

John W. Evankovich Sr.,

John W. Evankovich Sr., 77, of Criswell Rd., Karns City, Perry Twp., Armstrong Co., passed away at 10:35 a.m. Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital in Kittanning surrounded by his loving family.
John was born on November 3, 1937 in Criswell, Armstrong Co. on the same acreage where he had currently resided. He was the son of the late John and Vinka Trinajstic Evankovich.

Roy K. Conner

Roy K. Conner, 74, of Sligo, Pa., passed away at the Clarion Hospital on Wednesday evening March 11, 2015, following an extended illness. Born in Sandy Hollow (Rimersburg) on November 18, 1940, he was the son of the late Byron and Dorothy Keefer Conner.
He was protestant by faith.
He served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1966 with the rank of Specialist 4th Class.
He is survived by Eilene Say, his long-time special companion for nearly 25 years.

Margaret L. “Marg” Griffin, 77, of St. Petersburg, passed away late Wednesday evening, March 18, 2015 at UPMC in Seneca.
Marg was born on April 5, 1937 in Chicora. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Ora Hunsberger McKaern.

Arthur C. “Tex” Barnhart

Arthur C. “Tex” Barnhart, age 86 of Chicora, PA, died at 3:15pm Monday, March 16, 2015 in the Chicora Medical Center following a short illness.
He was born in Karns City, PA on November 14, 1928 to the late Frank A. Barnhart and Agnes Maude Snape Barnhart Ferris Aldinger.

Harvey G. “Dewey” Blystone, 82, of Buena Vista Rd., Chicora, passed away early Thursday morning, March 19, 2015 at Sugarcreek Rest following an extended illness.
