Robert W. “Bob” Best, 71, of Myers Hill Road, Knox, went to be with the Lord Thursday morning, July 30, 2015 at his home.
Robert was born on June 20, 1944 in Paint Twp., Clarion County, the son of Robert I. Best of Knox and the late Dorothy Ardeen Cochran Best.

Larry J. “Buzz” Roudebush, 72, of Karns City, saw the face of Jesus around sunset at his home on Tuesday, July 28, 2015, following a courageous battle with cancer while surrounded by his loving family
Mr. Roudebush was born on December 23, 1942 in Karns City. He was the son of the late John and Agnes Baumcratz Roudebush. He graduated from Fairview Township Karns City High School in 1961.

James D. Winters

James D. Winters

James D. Winters, 82, of Nickleville, passed away Sunday July 26, 2015 at the home of his niece in Emlenton.
James was born in Rouseville on June 27, 1933. He was the son of Walter and Bertha Dickinson Winters. In his earlier years, Jim attended the Rouseville Methodist Church. He enjoyed going to flea markets and yard sales.
Jim is survived by a number of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews, his sister, Nancy McClintock and her husband Bill of Cherrytree, a sister in law, Mary Winters of Cranberry, as well as a number of cousins.

Dorothy Mae Kupec, age 87, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 26, 2015 in Salisbury, Maryland. Born in Pittsburgh PA, she was the daughter of Charles Gent and Rose Brooks Gent, and was born 6th out of 11 children.

Lois L. Salamone

Lois L. Salamone, 88, of St. Petersburg, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2015, at UPMC Northwest in Seneca. Born on June 17, 1927, in St. Petersburg, Lois was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Nellie Levy Linnon. Lois was a graduate of St. Petersburg-Richland High School. She enjoyed spending time with her family and visiting with all of her neighbors and friends on the porch. She was always up for a card game or trying her luck with scratch off tickets. She is survived by her husband, Tony Salamone, whom she married on August 4, 1951 at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church in Parker.

DONALD JAMES WHYTE

DONALD JAMES WHYTE, 59, of Galloway, Ohio, formerly of Parker, Pa., passed away suddenly early Tuesday morning, June 21, 2015 at his residence of natural causes.
Born on Feb. 11, 1956 in Butler, Pa., he was the son of the late James L. and Esther Bertocki Whyte.
Don was a 1974 graduate of Allegheny-Clarion Valley School District at Foxburg.
He was a well-known avid hunter.

Joseph R. “Joe” Conti

Joseph R. “Joe” Conti, 56, of Emlenton-Clintonville Rd., Emlenton, went to be with the Lord Sunday morning, May 3, 2015 at his residence.
Joseph was born in Grove City on October 11, 1958. He was the son of Marion Conti Butler and the late Richard S. Conti.
He was a 1977 graduate of Moniteau High School.
He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church in Emlenton. He enjoyed hunting, working outside around his home, riding his four-wheeler, the company of his cat, Spike, and family holidays, especially Christmas. Joe was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan.

Eugene C. Berlin, 78, of Rt. 338, Emlenton, Turkey City, Richland Twp., Clarion Co., passed away early Friday morning, May 1, 2015 at his residence.
Eugene was born in Salem Twp., Clarion County on December 17, 1936. He was the son of the late Charles F. Sr. and Ida E. Whitling Berlin.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran and had been employed at Hartford Ball Company in Rocky Hill, CT for 30 years. Gene loved hunting, fishing, and working in his garage.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia D. Slaugenhoup Berlin, whom he married in Rimersburg on November 27, 1964.

Nicholas K. Northime, 60, of Cowansville, went to meet the Lord following a long battle with M.S. early Friday morning, May 1, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.
Nicholas was born in Butler and raised in Chicora. He was the son of the late Frederick and Aileen Brownfield Northime.

HELEN SELLERS BLAUSER

HELEN SELLERS BLAUSER, 87, of Allegheny Twp., Parker, Pa. passed away at 10:47 PM Saturday evening, April 18, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot, Pa. following an illness.

Born in Eau Claire, Butler Co. on Sept. 13, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Lyda Mae Layton Sellers.
She was married on May 15, 1948 to Pershing W. “Deacon” Blauser who passed away Dec. 5, 1987.
Helen was a member of the Six Points Church of God of Prophecy at Six Points (near Eau Claire).
