Glenn Everett Vaughn

Glenn Everett Vaughn, 71, of Knox, lost his fight with cancer on January 14, 2016.
Glenn was born in Mexico, Missouri on January 30, 1944. He was the son of the late James Sterling and Mary Rosaline Roland Vaughn.
Glenn graduated from high school in Vienna, MO, in 1961. After graduating, his family moved to Wayne County, MI.

Bruce L. Rankin

Bruce L. Rankin, 54, of Onuffer Rd., Emlenton, died Wednesday afternoon, January 6, 2016 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh from injuries he sustained in a vehicle accident on January 2.
Bruce was born in Oil City on May 23, 1961. He was the son of Helen V. Griffin Rankin of Kennerdell and the late Paul L. Rankin.
Bruce graduated in 1979 from Franklin High School and Oil City Vo-Tech. Bruce had been employed for many years in the construction industry as a carpenter.

John R. Craig

John R. Craig, 69, a well-known Chicora community resident and long-time Chicora fireman, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes Wednesday morning, December 30, 2015 at his home.
John was born in Chicora on November 28, 1946. He was the oldest son of Ruth M. Holben Craig of Chicora and the late Robert E. Craig.
He was 1964 graduate of Karns City High School. John served in the National Guard. He was employed for more than 35 years at ARMCO in Butler as Supervisor of Plant Protection and Industrial Risk Management and Security.

Elizabeth “Ebbie” Wall

Elizabeth “Ebbie” Wall, 90 of Emlenton, Pa. passed away Sunday morning at her residence after an extended illness. She was born in Johnetta, PA, on May 13, 1925. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Bernice Flick Byers.
Elizabeth was employed by Bell Telephone in New Kensington for a number of years. She was a member of the Park Hill Church of God in West Freedom where she belonged to The Women of The Church of God.

Donald E. Bowman, 58, of Oil City, died unexpectedly of natural causes Saturday, December 26, 2015 at his home.
He was born June 26, 1957 in McKeesport, to Helen (Deloe) Bowman and the late Henry J. Bowman, Sr.
Don was a 1975 graduate of Allegheny-Clarion Valley High School, and later obtained electrician education and certification.
In his earlier years, he was a volunteer member of the St. Petersburg and Foxburg Volunteer Fire Departments.
Don enjoyed hunting, fishing, and doing home maintenance and repairs. He also enjoyed the companionship of his pet dog, Bru.

Aneita I. Rabbitt, age 95, of Chicora, PA passed away at 11:15 P.M. Friday, November 13, 2015 at her residence. She was born October 21, 1920 in Guys Mills, Crawford County, PA. She is the daughter of the late George C. Irons and Etta C. Baker Irons.
Aneita is a graduate of Randolph High School in Guys Mills. She received her Registered Nurse diploma from Spencer Hospital Nursing School in Meadville, PA; and received her Bachelor of Education from Slippery Rock State Teachers College.

Barbara L. Fair, 87, of Chicora, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler.
Mrs. Fair was born in Hooker on March 29, 1928, the daughter of the late Roy Herbert and Marjorie Groom Thompson.
She was married to Ronald R. Fair on July 28, 1950 in North Washington.
She was a graduate of Concord High School and was employed in the food service department at Karns City High School for many years. Barbara was a long time member of the Concord Presbyterian Church in Hooker and enjoyed playing cards with friends, as well as gardening.

DANIELLE WHITNEY KELLY, 29, of Bruin, Pa. went to be with her Lord Monday evening at her residence.
Born in Butler, Pa. on July 24, 1986, she was the daughter of David Kelly and Tammy Sherwin Kelly Myers.
She attended Karns City High School, and was affiliated with the former Martinsburg Presbyterian Church (now Martinsburg Church of Bruin) at Bruin.
She was a stay at home and loving mother to her only daughter, Aliya Adams, of Bruin.
She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Adam Todd Bartley

Adam Todd Bartley, 52, of Parker passed away Wednesday at 12:30 PM, October 21, 2-15, at his residence surrounded by his loving, caring family members.
Born in Butler, Pa. on March 8, 1963, he was the son of Mary Lou Pipher Bartley of Perryville who survives, and the late Joe A. Bartley who passed away in 1993.
He was a 1981 graduate of Allegheny-Clarion Valley School at Foxburg, and completed certification as a welder at Clarion County Vo-Tech.
