Shippenville Borough Celebrates 125 Years - Event moved to the Fire Hall

Shippenville Borough will celebrate its 125th Anniversary on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at Woodburn Park on South Street.
The historic celebration will be held from 12 Noon to 3:00 PM. (Due to rain, the event has been moved to the fire hall on Main Street)
A commemorative book of Shippenville’s 125 years will be on hand for sale. The book contains 82 pages and features its founding fathers, many historic photos and present businesses. The book may be purchased for $5.00 on this day only. The regular price is $8.00.
The day will feature Horse Drawn Wagon Rides, Fire Truck Rides, Hot Dogs available from the Girls Scouts, Birthday Cake & Drink, The Keister Family Band, PSAB Representative, Young Lungs At Play Representative.
Come on out and help celebrate the day. Bring your own lawn chair.
