Emlenton Echoes 4-H Members Recognized


The Emlenton Echoes 4-H Club has several members who have been recognized for there accomplishments.
Kelsey Ziegler and Kevin Riddle were given the Outstanding Girl and Boy award for emerging leaders sponsored by the Titusville News Herald at the Leadership Dinner in March.
MaryBeth Hutchinson was also awarded the Outstanding Leader award for 2013-2014.
Our members have been busy attending various camps. Some of the junior members attended the In-Betweeners retreat at Camp Lutherland, the Intermediate members attended Camp Counselor Training at McKeever and several members attended Summer Camp at the Ukrainian Church Camp. Club Members attended the Northwest Regional Fashion Revue in Mercer.
Kalynne Ziegler and Lydia Seaton won a gold Honor Award in the Junior Traditional division.
Kevin Riddle won a Blue Ribbon for Senior Shopping.
Lucy Hutchinson, Anne Marie Hutchinson, Sophie Hutchinson, Dori Kralj and Kelsey Ziegler all won a gold Honor Award in the Senior Traditional division. Anna Riddle won a runner up award in this division.
All of the Senior Traditional winners will be attending PA State 4-H Achievement Days in Penn State to compete.
One of our members, Dori Kralj has been accepted into ShowPig.com National Leadership Team. She has traveled to Iowa to the World Pork Expo and has attended Leadership Camp in Romney West Virginia. She will be attending the Ohio State Fair as a representative in July.
All of our members will be attending the Venango County Fair in August.
