EBADC Announces Town Meeting

The East Brady Area Development Corporation is inviting area property owners, permanent and seasonal residents and business owners to participate in a town meeting to be held on September 24, 2014 at the Arnold Beabout Community Center on Robinson Street from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The purpose for the meeting is to introduce current EBADC board members, and request input from East Brady residents, and residents from its surrounding communities, regarding its reorganization and goals for the future. “The East Brady Area Development Corporation is in the process of re-establishing itself as a viable player in the direction East Brady heads into the future”, explains president Dawn Weibel. “Our area has a lot to offer and we want to be proactive in ensuring a quality of life for our residents, and enjoyment of our amenities for our visitors”. President Weibel further states, “It is important we hear ideas and plans from our constituents, hence the gathering for the town meeting. We hope many people will choose to come, and share their thoughts with us”. The EBADC strongly encourages everyone to join in and will provide the venue for those interested to take turns speaking so all can be heard. A draft of a revised version of its goals and mission will be available for comment. Membership forms will be also be available; annual dues for an individual is $10 and for a business is $25.
