ACV HS Class of 2015 Holds Graduation Ceremony

The Allegheny-Clarion Valley Class of 2015, held their graduation on the high school campus in Foxburg on Thursday, June 4, 2015. Fifty-four students participated in graduation activities with parents, family, and friends in attendance. Danielle Marie Kaufman was the 2015 Valedictorian, with Sadie Elizabeth Allison Longo as the Salutatorian and Mr. Clay A. Snyder as the keynote speaker.
Valedictorian, Danielle Marie Kaufman is the daughter of Raymond and Amy Kaufman of Parker. Along with achieving academic excellence, Danielle was a member of the Girls’ Basketball, Softball and Volleyball teams, Student Council President, and is a member of both ACES and the National Honor Society. Danielle was chosen Homecoming Queen, and received the National Scholar/Athlete Award as well as the Good Citizenship Award. Danielle’s future plans include attending Gannon University in the fall to major in Biology and complete the Pre-Med Program.
Salutatorian, Sadie Elizabeth Allison Longo is the daughter of Carrie Longo of Emlenton. Along with achieving academic excellence, Sadie was a member of the Girls’ Basketball, Cheerleading, Softball, Track and Volleyball teams, Student Council Vice-President, is a member of both ACES and the National Honor Society and has also participated in the High School Musical. Sadie was chosen 1st team KSAC All-Conference Volleyball, 2nd team D9 Volleyball and has received the KSAC Athletic Scholarship as well as the Allegheny College Trustee Scholarship. Sadie’s future plans include attending Allegheny College in the fall to major in Biology and complete the Pre-Med Program.
Keynote speaker, Mr. Clay A. Snyder, graduated from Allegheny-Clarion Valley Jr./Sr. High School in 1989 and went on to earn his B.S. Degree from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI. He presently is Senior Director Brand Performance with Hilton Hotels & Resorts Global Headquarters located in McLean, Virginia. Mr. Snyder and his wife Linda, reside outside Atlanta, Georgia.
The administration, faculty and staff of Allegheny–Clarion Valley extended sincere congratulations to all of the graduates from the Class of 2015 and wished them all good luck in their future endeavors.
