(HARRISBURG, PA) - Today the United States Supreme Court affirmed our nation's historic understanding of religious liberty by providing an exception to the abortifacient mandate that had been handed down by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) as part of the Affordable Care Act.

Thanks to a $7,000 grant,Clarion County Sheriff Rex Munsee is in the mix of offering a new service, particularly to those who may suffer with dementia or Alzeimer’s in Clarion County. Project Lifesaver just might be your ticket. Now on the radar in Clarion County, Sheriff Munsee and his staff are introducing just that, a radar like device that can save lives. "It looks like a radar gun with an antenna," said Munsee.

Harold R. Perkins

HAROLD R. PERKINS, 85, of Olmsted Falls, Ohio, formerly of Clarion Co., passed away Tuesday evening, June 17, 2014 at Renaissance Care Center, Olmsted Falls following a brief illness.
Born in St. Petersburg, Pa. on May 2, 1929, he was the son of the late Raymond Henry and Annie Black Perkins.
He was a retired employee of General Motors of Ohio, member of the UAW, and was an honorably discharged veteran of the U.S. Army.

Francis Paul "Chick" McGuirk

FRANCIS PAUL “Chick” McGUIRK, 84, of Foxburg passed away late Sunday evening, June 15, 2014 at Parker Personal Care Home following a period of declining health.
Born in St. Petersburg, Pa., on March 31, 1930, he was the son of the late Frank Vincent and Edna Mae Bell McGuirk.
A 1948 graduate of the former St. Petersburg High School, he later graduated from Clarion State Teachers College (now University) with a B.S. in Applied Sciences. He also earned a Masters Degree in Guidance from Westminster College in New Wilmington.
