Charles R. “Chuck” Vasey Jr., 87, of St. Petersburg, Clarion County, a long time St. Petersburg businessman, went to Heaven to be with his family and friends on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot following an illness.
 
Born on September 27, 1926 in St. Petersburg, Clarion County, Chuck was the son of C. Ralph and Margaret Linnon Vasey.

Kickball in February? That was the exact thought of an idea generated by Vince and Carrie Forsythe of St. Petersburg. The concept behind the idea however goes beyond freezing your tail off and the risk of injury sliding onto a snow covered field for the heck of it. "We have always wanted to help raise money for a local kid or someone in need," stated Vince and Carrie Forsythe.

Another Mystery Photo Solved

Thanks to a couple of readers, the above picture listed in our February 25th publication  light has been shed on the mystery photo.  The above men are thought to of been members of  the  Odd Fellows Lodge No. 646 in Emlenton, and the picture was taken in the Lodge quarters in the Odd Fellows Building at 5th & Main. It would have been shot in the early 1950s.

Farmer's National Bank Donates To Local Community

For the past several years, Foxburg’s community leaders, known as the Foxburg Team, have established several community events which benefit, not only their community, but non-profit groups and the surrounding communities as well. To help keep these community events moving in a positive direction Farmers National Bank has been helping with an annual donation. This year Farmer’s National Bank has donated $3,000 for the 2014 events in Foxburg.
