JOHN W. BARGER, 85, of Dutch Hill, Parker, Pa. passed away suddenly Wednesday evening (10-30-13) at his residence of natural causes.
Born on February 4, 1928 in Parker, Pa., he was the son of the late Albert Meade and Alma Etna Jordan Barger.
He was married for sixty-five years this year to the former Helen E. Bowser, who survives.

A program called SING AND PRAY FOR AMERICA will be held at Foxburg's Lincoln Hall this Sunday from 3:00 to 4:30 P.M.  Veterans and Boy and Girl Scout troops are invited to attend in uniform!

The annual spaghetti dinner fundraiser was held on Thursday, October 24, 2013, at the Emlenton Truck Plaza off I-80 Exit 42, Emlenton. The dinner was a success despite the closing of the Emlenton Hill. Supporters came from Parker, Foxburg, Clintonville, Emlenton, Lamartine, Clintonville and I-80 travelers. The Emlenton firemen would like to thank everyone who came out to support them and went the extra mile to show their support.
